Dance Educators of America

Heidi Rogols is the Owner and Director of Charmion Performing Arts Center in Circleville, Ohio, and serves as the Owner and President of Encore Talent Productions National Dance Competition. Her dance education journey began at just three years old, studying ballet, tap, jazz, baton, and tumbling at the Janis School of Dance. As her love for the arts deepened, she sought the guidance of professional dance instructors such as Danielle Kellis and Techla Murphy, gaining valuable insights from experts associated with the Los Angeles Ballet Company, the University of Oklahoma, and leading choreographers from Chicago, Hollywood, and New York City.

In 1986, Heidi achieved certification as a Dance Educator through Dance Educators of America in New York and is also certified by Dance Masters of America and Ohio Dance Masters. Before relocating to Circleville, she successfully operated two studios in Northwest Ohio, where her choreography accumulated numerous accolades.

In 2010, Heidi acquired Charmion Performing Arts Center, initially starting with just 50 students. By the end of her first season, the studio had expanded threefold, establishing CPAC as a prominent and vibrant hub for dance education and performing arts training. Her mother, Suzonne Morse, played a crucial role in those formative years, providing essential support that laid the groundwork for CPAC’s growth.

In addition to overseeing CPAC, Heidi holds the position of Owner and President of Encore Talent Productions National Dance Competition, where she focuses on delivering a positive and professional competition experience for dancers, teachers, and families. She also serves on the Executive Board for Ohio Dance Masters, lending her knowledge to enhance dance education throughout the state. In 2026, she was honored with the Member of the Year award from Ohio Dance Masters.

Heidi’s enduring dedication to dance education has shaped countless dancers, many of whom have gone on to achieve professional careers, including roles with Disney, on international cruise lines, and as collegiate dance instructors.

In addition to her dance credentials, Heidi holds a degree in Medical Assisting and Management from Stautzenberger College. Her husband, Marc, is a retired Sergeant from the Ohio State Highway Patrol, District 1 Investigations, and serves as the Pickaway County Administrator and President of the Circleville Pumpkin Show.

Family holds great importance in Heidi’s life. She is a proud mother to three grown children—Royce, Stephanie, and Dylan—and a grandmother to her step-granddaughter Benita and four grandsons: Austin, Hunter, Grayson, and Kasey. She is also blessed with two great-grandchildren, Brylin and Shyla.

Heidi’s philosophy centers on passion, professionalism, and the belief that foundational training matters from the start. Through the Charmion Performing Arts Center and Encore Talent Productions, she remains committed to creating opportunities for dancers of all ages to flourish both on and off the stage.
