PROGRAMS

Our Recreational Dance Program is the Perfect Place for Everyone.

For children of all ages eager to move, shake, jump, and have a great time, our recreational dance classes provide a variety of options, including Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Baton, and Gymnastic-Acrobatic. These dance class descriptions reflect the wide selection of scheduling we offer, making them accessible to any dancer interested in learning skills and techniques while enjoying the process! Dance is beneficial for any child, serving as an emotional outlet and a means of artistic expression. We meet your child where they are in their dance journey, ensuring they find the right class that keeps them motivated while also being positively challenged. Additionally, our recreational dance classes go beyond just in-class experiences. All dancers have opportunities to participate in our dance competition programs, showcasing their hard work at events like the Pumpkin Show, Holiday Show, and our Annual Dance Recital. Here, they perform choreographed pieces they've diligently practiced throughout the year in front of family and friends, and they get to experience the feeling of being a star. If you’re a new parent to the world of dance, we invite you to enroll your child in our recreational program and witness their growth and learning with CPAC!

Ballet is an essential component of a dancer's overall training – it provides the root and foundation for all other dance forms. In our dance class descriptions, we emphasize that ballet classes focus on proper body placement, balance, flexibility, alignment, and technique, cultivated through both barre and floor work. This rigorous training is especially valuable for those participating in dance competition programs, as well as for students enrolled in recreational dance classes.

Incorporating tap into dance competition programs can enhance musicality, rhythm, and coordination, making it an essential part of recreational dance classes. Proper execution remains key to perfecting each sound in this vibrant dance form.
