Heidi is the owner and director of the Charmion Performing Arts Center. Miss Heidi began dancing at 3 years old. Heidi studied ballet, tap, jazz, baton, and tumbling. She started her dance training with Janis School of dance. As her interest in dance heightened she furthered her studies with Danielle Kellis – professional entertainer across the United States, and Techla Murphy – professional ballerina.
Heidi has also studied with instructors from the Los Angeles Ballet Company, the director of Dance at the University of Oklahoma, famous choreographers from Chicago, Hollywood and New York City.
Heidi studied extensively with Dance Educators of American and Dance Masters of America.
In 1986, Heidi successfully tested and became certified to teach the art of dance education by Dance Educators of America in New York. Heidi also holds a Dance Masters Certification.
Heidi owned two studios in Northwest Ohio, before moving to Circleville, where her Choreography won many awards until making the decision to move to Circleville.
Heidi’s passion for dance and sharing that passion with others is what inspired her to run Charmion Performing Arts Center in Circleville,
Several of Heidi’s students have went on to major in dance performance, working at Disney, on Cruise Ships and teaching dance in their college years.
Besides being a Certified Dance Educator, Heidi holds a degree in Medical Assisting and Management from Stautzenberger College.
Heidi' husband is retired from the State Highway Patrol, where he was the Sergeant. Marc was in charge of the District 1 Investigations.
Heidi has 3 grown children Royce, Stephanie and Dylan. She also has 4 Grandsons ,1 Granddaughter and 3 Great Grandchildren that love to play sports.
